Officers

President Elect
Vic Hanson
I have been a member of Croydon Circle for nine years and was enrolled in October 2015.
During my year as President I will be in the chair for both Circle and Council Committee meetings. Also, with the assistance of my Vice President, I will plan and organise a calendar of events and activities for our Circle members (brothers) and their wives some of which will be specifically fundraising for a charity of my choice.

Vice President Elect
Frank Delicata
I have been a member of Croydon Circle since October 2014.
In my role as Vice President I assist the President to manage and organise functions on the calendar of events for his year in office. I help publicise, take bookings and set up venues for these functions. There is also a calendar of provincial and national events to which brothers, and often their wives, are invited and I coordinate transport for those
from Croydon who are going. I also deputise as chair of meetings in the event of the President's absence.

Secretary
Conrad De Souza
I have been a member of Croydon Circle since July 2020.
I take minutes of Circle and Council meetings and circulate them to Brothers. I also give notice of meeting dates, times and venues, send a monthly newsletter detailing attendance at the previous meeting, details for the next, agendas and details of forthcoming Circle, Provincial and national events. At meetings I announce the names of Brothers and Circles they have recently visited, any significant correspondence and apologies for absence. I am also responsible for managing the vote and recording the outcome of any motions.

Treasurer
Paul Nattrass
I have been a member of Croydon Circle for twenty-three years and was enrolled in February 2002.
As Treasurer my role is to maintain the financial records of our Circle. My role is to collect annual subscriptions from our brothers, manage the receipt of payment for our social events and report regularly at Circle and Council meetings on the state of our finances. At the end of each year I submit a financial report for auditing and acceptance by brothers.

Registrar
Peter McGuigan
I was enrolled as a member of Croydon Circle in August 2024.
My role as registrar is to ensure that the Circle register is signed by all who attend meetings and report to the Circle Council any significant attendance patterns.

Chamberlain
Stahl Fernandes
I have been a member of Croydon Circle since June 2024.
My duties are to ensure our meetings are run in a fitting manner. This includes preparation of the meeting room and distribution of officers’ insignia to their respective places before the meeting starts. I also arrange for the courteous care of any visitors and guests who may be present and at the beginning of the meeting announce their names.
During the enrolment of a new brother I assist the Vice President in this process and, at formal dining functions, I act as Master of Ceremonies.

Membership Officer
John Fennell
I have been a member of Croydon Circle for nineteen years and was enrolled in January 2006.
My duties as the Circle Membership Officer are to be Chairman of the Circle’s Membership Committee, promote and co-ordinate the recruitment of new members, arrange sponsors for new members and report to members at Circle meetings on progress with recruitment.

Welfare Officer
Philip Pond
I have been a member of Croydon Circle for twenty-seven years and was enrolled in September 1997.
My role is to oversee the welfare and spiritual wellbeing of our members and their families. Every month two of our brothers are assigned the duty of visiting those of our fraternity who are unwell, housebound or in hospital, liaise with them and, if necessary, report back at Circle and Council meetings.

Provincial Councillor
Andrew Denore
I have been a Catenian since 2006 following the footsteps of my father and grandfather into the Croydon Circle.
My wife Lina and I have been parishioners at St Gertrude’s Church in South Croydon since we settled in Croydon with our son Daniel in 1993. We have both had enormous fun in the Catenians at the various social events, the weekends away, the summer BBQ, etc, and have met wonderful people and made some great friends. Not yet ready for retirement I have spent my working life in the construction industry but recently I am enjoying working less hard and spending more time at home in the garden or on the allotment or planning trips abroad to catch up with family and friends.
